Background
Minneapolis CMM Calibration and Repair arranges coordinate measuring machine calibration, verification, repair and programming for manufacturers across Minnesota and the Greater Midwest. Work is scoped against the make, model and axis travel of each machine, then placed with a laboratory whose accredited scope covers the measurement being made. Calibration is completed under ISO/IEC 17025:2017, with certificates traceable to the SI through NIST.
Operating History
The business exists because a quality manager auditing a supplier list needs a straight answer: is this measurement inside the laboratory's accredited scope, and does the certificate show what an auditor will ask for. Requests are reviewed against equipment lists, not against a generic service menu, before a quotation is issued.
Coverage runs across the Minneapolis metro and the surrounding region, on-site and ship-in, for bridge, gantry and cantilever CMMs and portable articulated arms. Gage calibration and CMM programming are handled alongside calibration so an inspection department and its gage crib can run on a single recall schedule instead of several.
