RFQ
Request a Quote
Send the item detail and the turnaround required; a written quotation is returned.
What to Include
The first message can carry everything a quotation needs. Send these six:
- Item. Manufacturer, model or type, range, and quantity.
- Measurement. The points, ranges or parameters that must be covered.
- Tolerance. The specification the item is held to, and whether a statement of conformity is required.
- Standard. Any standard, customer specification or accreditation requirement the work must satisfy.
- Turnaround. The date the item is needed back, and whether expedited handling should be priced.
- Engagement type. Whether the item is shipped in, collected, or the work is carried out on site.
Incomplete requests are queried ahead of pricing, so supplying the detail immediately shortens matters. Quotations are issued in writing and carry thirty days validity unless the quotation specifies otherwise.
Submit a Request
Submissions are read against current capacity, with a reply inside one business day. Where the scope field marks a request urgent, it moves up the same queue rather than onto a separate track.

Before You Send
Every quotation is issued under stated terms. Validity, payment, turnaround and liability are set out in the terms and conditions. How results are reported, and what a certificate does and does not state, is covered on the disclaimer page.
